We are now accepting intent of interest for paid nursery internships in Westport, Mass.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working with plants, or is hoping to go into ecological or science fields.
What We’re Looking For
We ask that applicants enjoy spending time outdoors, working hard, having fun, getting lots of sunshine (and sometimes rain).
We will fully train all individuals, but are looking for someone with a love of learning. Must be able to handle directions well, be able to finish tasks unsupervised, be on time, be reliable, and show up for their shifts.
Some of the work is hard, some of it is dirty, a lot of it will leave you feeling great at the end of the day, but it is not for everyone. This is a physical work on a farm, and interns when not on a break, will be expected to stay active throughout their shift.
Must have own transportation and be available mornings, afternoons as well as weekends.
Job Schedule
March 15th until School lets out: Only Saturdays from 9-3
Once summer break starts, until the end of August: Must be available mornings and afternoons as well as weekends. 3-4 days a week for 2-6 hour shifts. (weather dependent)
