Golden Alexanders are such sweet(literally) and lovely late spring garden plants with there yellow umbels that bloom for several weeks. They are an important nectar source for Monarchs and other pollinators as they journey North in the spring when not much else is blooming. I think they are rather lovely in a garden setting, poking through foliage before much else is blooming but they are beautiful in a meadow or mass planting too. Host plant for swallowtail butterflies.
