Lavender hyssop is a native agastache that I, and birds, and bees, and butterflies, and wasps, just can’t resist. It is not a New England Ecotype, but it does wonders in the garden and makes up for it with the biodiversity it supports. It is part of the mint family, and smells divne, although not an aggressive spreader. It is also deer and rabbit resistant and drought tolerant.
