Swamp milkweed is one of the more vibrant milkweed flowers and is non aggressive making it a great candidate for the traditional garden, or anywhere for that matter. Even though it has evolved in wetter areas, if watered well the first year it can adapt to a drier location. It has big dark pink flowers that attract many insects and of course it hosts Monarch Butterflies.
