Blue grama grass is a clumping compact warm season grass that can be grown as a lawn alternative in very dry sites with sandy or poor soil. It can be mowed, but needs even less water if not. It is adorable and attractive in it’s small stature, with whimsical flowers floating over it. Yet blue grama grass is Extremely durable and drought tolerant.
