Native clematis, not to be confused with invasive introduced clematis, is a lovely vine. It does best on trellis and fences(not wood), but can be used as a groundcover. It is still a vine and can reach 10-20′, so be sure you want it where you plant it. It blooms later in the season and is covered in white, fragrant, delicate flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators. Has beautiful seed heads after flowering. Deer resistant!
