White wood aster makes for a wonderful groundcover in the dry shade. The green foliage creates a nice spread, and the flowers that come later and cover it in such sweet little white asters. It can tolerate moderate moisture and a little sun. Deer and rabbit resistant. Asters host butterfly larvae and attract many bees and butterflies, making them a pollinator powerhouse. They are considered a keystone species, and are a very important late season pollinator plant.
