Swamp sunflower is one on our list that does not naturally occur on the farm coast, but it supports so much wildlife, and is very close that it would make sense it would eventually grow here naturally. It is a keystone species and pollinator powerhouse. This sunflower blooms late and is wonderful planted in mass. Deer and rabbit resistance make it really easy to care for.
