Oxeye blooms resemble a sunflower, and sit on 3-5′ stems. They make a great cut flower and bloom for a long time. They attract all the pollinators and the seeds are beloved by songbirds. They are drought tolerant and deer resistant. It is present in Massachusetts, but not native. However, it’s value and eventual natural spread further Northeast is a good reason to offer it here.
