Golden ragwort is gaining in popularity as an intentionally planted native due to it’s extraordinary performance. Packera blooms best as a groundcover in part shade and is a great spreader, but does well in sun too. In spring, small yellow flowers rise over the glossy heart shaped foliage and provide a wonderful, low growing, early pollen and nectar source for first pollinators. It then holds up very well into late fall as long as it has adequate moisture.
